Too Cool for School was an “art and science fair” in 2010 showcasing arts-science projects in a “science fair” context. Although the projects themselves were by adults, the event suggests an interesting possibility. Organizing an arts/science fair for kids might be a great way to break down the barriers between the arts and sciences, between the artsy types and science geeks, at the middle / high school level.
